Wow. I’m still amazed by what a client shared with me tonight. We had our second session and were going over how her new workout choices, power yoga and aerial silks classes were going.
She also let me know that she made some fresher food choices, as we had planned. She ate a lot of packaged food from college, whatever was fast and cheap.
We did NOT do an extreme overhaul, but instead I asked if she could try out some higher quality food choices. Just a few. To put in the mix. Some fresh, organic fruits and veggies or grains or meats or whatever. Stuff she likes!
So she’s been playing with that and testing things out.
She tells me one week and one yoga class into this that she’s really excited about everything and that oh by the way, her chronic, persistent, acid reflux that sent her to the hospital a few weeks ago…has gone away entirely.
Now I’m no doctor and I can’t say for sure that there’s a direct correlation, but it’s not the craziest idea. When you feed your body fresher stuff, it just works better. It builds muscle easier, let’s go of fat easier, heals itself easier.
Because of an allergy, she wasn’t able to take any meds and was just kind of pushing through the symptoms. and yep, seems to be all gone as of right now.
So wow. Even I didn’t expect that.
But goes to show how small, powerful, personally tailored changes can make the most massive impact on your whole experience of life.
